Job Vacancy: Foreign Music Teacher Needed for Preschool Education

Who we are
We’re the fast-growing specialized preschool education firm located in Beijing. Our core team consists of PKU alumni, music veterans, successful entrepreneurs with strong education and multinational management background.
We focus on preschool music and English education with the age of 3-6 kids. The branches are located in Chaoyang district, where there are the majority of middle class families demanding higher level of education for their kids.
We have the guiding philosophy of “learning by playing” – music is the most common language worldwide to inspire young children to grow. We believe making full use of the best-of-breed “Carl Orff” musical assets together with top teaching talents will intrigue the greatest interests of children, and unleash their musical and intellectual potentials.

What we are looking for
We’re looking for foreign teachers who have teaching experiences in both music and English to join our team. He or she could be regarded either as a business partner with competitive compensation and firm’s share offered or as a core teaching staff to undertake great responsibilities to grow with us. Compensation and incentives are negotiable.

Responsibilities:
•        Teach “Carl Orff” courses for 3-5 kids primarily during 6:00-9:00 pm (Mon-Fri) or day time in the weekend (full-time or part-time is negotiable)
•        Be able to teach entry-level course of at least one musical instrument
•        Evaluate kids’ learning progress and give feedback to their parents on a regular basis
•        In case of taking business partner role, he or she will be in charge of course development, recruit and train new teachers, evaluate teachers’ performance etc.

Qualifications:
•        Visiting scholars or international students in Central Conservatory of Music or other top universities in Beijing preferred
•        Musical talents with teaching experiences for young kids in Beijing preferred
•        Master at least one of the mainstream musical instruments (piano, violin, guitar, etc.) or have certain expertise in other popular music arenas
•        No criminal certificate required
•        TESOL certificate preferred
•        Bachelor’s degree or above required
